FLORENCE ESTELLA DONALDSON

Florence Estella Banker was born October 14, 1876, at the home where she died on August 29, 1919, aged 42 years, 10 months and 15 days. She was married to Fred Niblo on December 29, 1897. To this union was born one son. Her husband dying in April, 1901. She was married again on December 22, 1909 to Herbert Donaldson, who with the son, Fred survive her.

She leaves also brothers and their families and a host of loving friends who will always remember her as being kind, affectionate, always thinking of the comfort of others and ministering to their welfare.

Mrs. Donaldson spent her entire life on the farm where she died, except two years in Winterset and seven years on adjoining farms. She was converted in early life and united with the Pitzer U.P. Church of which she remained a faithful, active member.

Death of MRS. H. A. DONALDSON

Mrs. Florence Donaldson died at her home near Pitzer on last Friday morning following a painful illness extending over a year or more. Funeral services conducted by her pastor, Rev. C. E. Hawthorne were held at the Pitzer United Presbyterian church on Sunday and burial made at the Penn Center cemetery.

Mrs. Donaldson was the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Banker, who were among the earlier settlers of that vicinity. She was a young woman of strong Christian character, universally beloved on account of her kind and unselfish disposition.

She leaves a husband, one son, Fred Niblo, aged eighteen and two brothers, J. T. and Alonzo Banker all of this county.
