News of Interest from St. Charles

Relatives here received a telegram Sunday announcing the death on Saturday of Nevin Switzer at his home in Lake Worth, Florida. No details were given and nothing more is known other than he had been in very poor health for some time.

He was a son of the late S. S. Switzer, formerly of this place and was born and grew to manhood in St. Charles, graduating from the St. Charles high school with the class of 1910 but has lived in Florida many years.

He is survived by his wife, formerly Helene Archer of the Martensdale community, and two daughters, Gretchen and Harriet, his mother, Mrs. Hester J. Switzer and two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Nicosin and Mrs. Ruby Yerby all of Lake Worth. He was also a nephew of Mrs. Mollie Roberts and Mrs. J. Y. McGinnis of St. Charles and many other relatives reside here.
