Mrs. J. W. Neidt

Stella May Scott, daughter of William and Margaret Scott, was born in Madison county, Iowa, January 25, 1874; departed this life July 3, 1925, at her home in Osceola, Iowa, aged 51 years, 5 months and 9 days.

She was united in marriage to J. W. Neidt, in November, 1890. To this union nine children were born, six girls and three boys: Daisy R. Youmans, Truro; Lois V. Lowe, of Truro; Opal I. Mullen, Osceola; Iva G. Sinn, Truro; Paul J., Ross D., Marie J., and Marvin E., all at home and Ruby Mildred, deceased.

She united with the Christian church in early life and has remained true to that faith.

Mrs. Neidt has been in poor health since January, and had been confined to her bed for the past two months. Her suffering was intense, but she bore it bravely, with her patient, loving way, and never complained.

She was a faithful wife, a kind and loving mother, a good neighbor and was loved by all who knew her.

She leaves to mourn her, besides her husband and eight children, eight grand children, three brothers and three sisters: Princeton, of Peru, Iowa; Thomas, of Omaha, Nebr., Sampson, of Truro; Mrs. Elizabeth Hiatt, of Ackworth, Iowa; Mrs. Alice White, of Osceola, and Mrs. Victoria Deardoff, of Silk, Colo. Her father, mother, three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
