CLARION C. GRAY DIES

Relatives here received word of the death of Clarion C. Gray of Washington, D. C. Mr. Gray, who was born and raised in Scott township, received fatal injuries last Friday evening when he was struck by a car, as he alighted from a streetcar. He died the next morning.

Mr. Gray, about 50 years of age, was a son of the late A. B. Gray. He has been in Washington for the past twenty years, and was employed in the Internal Revenue department. He is survived by his mother and three sisters: Mrs. A. B. Gray, Mrs. Clarence Peterson, and Miss Mable Gray of Boone, and Mrs. Royal Manny of Des Moines. He also leaves a wife, and their three children. He was a cousin of Mrs. Fred Ray and Mrs. Harry Smith of Winterset.

His sisters, Miss Mabel Gray and Mrs. Manny, went to Washington to attend the funeral services which were held on Tuesday.
