Mrs. Susan McLaughlin Dies

Mrs. Susan McLaughlin, aged Lee township resident, died at her home near Cumming Thursday, Feb. 22d. She was 91 years of age and had lived for a time in this county for a number of years.

The Rev. J. J. Reynolds conducted the requiem mass for her at St. Patrick’s church on Saturday, Feb. 24th and burial was made in the church cemetery.

Mrs. McLaughlin was the former Susan Cassady. Her husband, the late Mike McLaughlin, died some twenty years ago. They were the parents of four sons and three daughters, two of whom preceded the mother in death. Her survivors are: J. H. McLaughlin, Charles McLaughlin, and Mrs. Susie Alyward of Cumming, Will McLaughlin of Belmond and Mrs. Margaret Linanne of Bevington. A son Frank McLaughlin died as a result of serious burns ------ and Mrs. Mayme Hall died several years ago. She also leaves a number of grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
