Ora B.,daughter of Wm. And Emily Fort, was born Oct. 8th, 1871 in Adair county, Iowa. She was united in marriage with Chas. Deignan at Leon, Iowa, on Aug. 17, 1897 to which union one son and three daughters were born, two daughters having died during infancy.
Mrs. Deignan shall be sadly missed as she was a kind, affectionate wife, sympathetic mother, dutiful and true friend.
Sister Deignan had experienced poor health for several months until the constitution could stand no longer the ravage of disease. The angel of death came to relieve the pain and earthly trials Sunday, May 25th. She was aged forty-seven years, eight months and sixteen days.
The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Fred Warner at the Deignan home Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial was in McGinnis cemetery.
