Mrs. Mildred Roush Middleton died in Des Moines on Thursday, Nov. 7 of influenza. Prior to her marriage, Mrs. Middleton taught in the Winterset high school, where she was held in highest regard by students and parents. A year ago she was married to Lt. H. E. Middleton, who was home on a furlough from Hoboken, N.Y., where he was prepared to go overseas with the medical corps. Mrs. Middleton leaves a two weeks old son, besides her husband, father and other relatives.
