It was with the deepest regret and profound sorrow that many friends here learned of the death of Mrs. Bonita Onstot at her home in Truro Saturday evening after a brief illness with pneumonia. She had been ill with the flu before being stricken with this dreaded disease. She was the daughter of C. E. Kinnaird of St. Charles and grew to womanhood here, and graduated from the St. Charles high school with the class of 1928. Mrs. Onstot was about 29 years of age and the mother of two small sons, both of whom are very ill at this time with the flu. Besides her husband and two sons, she is survived by her father, C. E. Kinnaird, two sisters, Mrs. Wilma Downs of St. Charles and Mrs. Evelyn Downs of Knoxville, and one brother, Everett Kinnaird of Marshalltown, and a host of friends. Since her marriage a few years ago to Lee Onstot, her home had been in Truro, where funeral services were held at the Christian church Monday afternoon with burial in the St. Charles cemetery.
