DEATH OF HARRISON BEEM

Harrison Beem died at the hospital in Iowa City on November 23, 1933, at the age of 75 years and ten months. He was the son of William J. and Amanda Beem and was born in Madison county, January 19, 1858.

The deceased was married to Luretta Leeper on December 7, 1883. They were the parents of four children, two of whom died in infancy. Mrs. Beem died September 14, 1892.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ona Creger of Truro and Mrs. Alta Rhyno of St. Charles; two sisters, Mrs. Millie Rhyno and Mrs. Levi Ray of Winterset; two brothers, Lafe Beem of Norma, North Dakota and Grant Beem of Elliott, North Dakota; three grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ival Rhyno at two o’clock November 25th and were conducted by Rev. A. R. Weed of the West Star church. Burial was at the Peru cemetery.
