An illness of many months duration ended in the death early Wednesday morning of Mrs. W. W. Cassiday at her home in Winterset. She was 55 years old.
Mrs. Cassiday was born Emma M. Graeger on May 23rd, 1878. For thirty years she had been a resident of Madison county.
Funeral arrangements are being deferred until the arrival of her son, William of Toledo, Ohio. In addition to her son, she is survived by her husband, W. W. Cassiday of Winterset.
________________________Note: Transcribed as published. Surname is “Cassidy”. Buried in the Winterset cemetery, unmarked grave. This marriage, a previous marriage, and her husband's obituary all indicate that her maiden name is "Draeger".

Services for Mrs. W. W. Cassidy, 55, were held Friday afternoon at the Ramsey Richards funeral home with the Rev. W. C. Porter in charge. Burial was in the Winterset Cemetery. Mrs. Cassidy had been in ill health many months, her death occurring Wednesday morning June 21.
She was born in Marshalltown in 1878 and was married in 1893 to William Foes. Three children were born to them, two sons and a daughter. In 1900 she came to Winterset in 1903 was married to Mr. Cassidy. Surviving are husband, her son William Foes, Jr. of Toledo, Ohio and a stepson Fred Cassidy of Winterset, and a stepdaughter Helen Elwell.
