A funeral for Homer D. Bosley, 91, of Des Moines and formerly of Earlham was held Dec. 14, 1989 at McKee Funeral Home here. Mr. Bosley died of pneumonia on Dec. 11 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center at Des Moines. Burial was in the Earlham Cemetery.

The son of M. S. and Clara V. Bosley, he was born near Earlham on Nov. 1, 1898. He married Lucille Veverka in April 1935. He was a retired postal clerk and a member of the Pioneer Lodge of Des Moines, the Des Moines Consistory, the Argonne Post of the American Legion, the Argonne Post Band, the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and the American Federation of Musicians.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
