Earlham, IowaLeroy H. Cobean was born November 27, 1917 and passed away Friday morning November 23 at the Earlham Manor Care Center.
The Cobean family moved to Earlham in 1937. His mother Mabel Cobean preceded him in death in October, 1975.
He leaves his brother Richard, who will miss him and also neighbors and friends.
Leroy had been ill about a year and had wonderful care by his brother, all the employees of the nursing home, hospitals, Earlham ministers and friends.
Leroy loved nature and animals and spent much time trapping, helping farmers and mowing lawns.
Short services were held at the McKee funeral home Saturday, November 24 at 1:00 p.m.
Rev. Steve Davis was in charge. Interment was at the West Linn Cemetery near Linden, where grave side service was held.
