Services Held for Burl Mendenhall

Funeral services for Burl Mendenhall, former Earlham resident, were held Monday at Arnolds Funeral Home in Des Moines. Burial was in the Earlham cemetery.

Following the burial service, about 25 relatives and friends gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Webb where lunch was served. Mrs. Webb’s niece, Fern Davis, assisted with serving lunch.

Mrs. Mendenhall’s two children, Harry Parker of Bakersfield, California, and Phyllis of Yuma, California, were present.

Mrs. Mendenhall passed away at Highland Park Nursing Home in Des Moines where she had recently been making her home.
