Shirley Trapp was born to Robert Carson and Eva Margaret Nichols June 8, 1924 in Cedar Rapids, NE. She passed away Wednesday September 14 at her home near Lorimor.
She graduated from Dallas Center and on June 18, 1942 married William E. "Bill" Trapp who survives her.
To that union was born Diane Kay, David Ray and Gary Lynn Trapp. She is also survived by six grandchildren, six great- grandchildren, a brother Marion T. (Beulah M.) Nichols and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, September 17 at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel where family will greet friends from 11 a.m. until service time. Shirley's family wishes to extend a special thanks to those at Hospice of GRMC of Creston by requesting memorial contributions be directed to them.
Shirley will be truly missed by all for her beautiful smile and love of family. She will always remain the rose of our lives.
