Ida Findley Jamison was born in Henderson county, Illinois in 1860 and died at the hospital in Winterset, Dec. 1, 1921, aged 61 years.
She united with the United Presbyterian church of South Henderson, when she was 15 years old and was faithful to her profession all her life. She was married to Samuel R. Jamison in 1881, who departed this life in 1916. To this union were born seven children, Harvey died in infancy. Six children; Mrs. Ethel Yoder of Clear Lake, Mrs. Jessie J. Silverthorne of Woodward, Mrs. Marie E. Boyd, Ross R. Jamison, Paul F. Jamison and Miss Rose J. Jamison, all of Winterset; also three sisters; Mrs. Bell Sloan of Pamona, Kans.; Miss Linn Findley and Mrs. Hettie Wanderly of Ellendale, N. D., remain to mourn her loss.
Mrs. Jamison was a devoted, tender and loving mother, and a faithful Christian. She had been in failing health and under the doctor's care for several months but until recently was not considered in immediate danger of death. She was brought by her family to the hospital on Nov. 26th and after five days, she answered to meet the loved ones gone on before.
The funeral services were held at the home four miles south of Winterset on Sunday, Dec. 4th at 2:30 p.m. By Rev. Malone, pastor of the United Presbyterian church and the body laid to rest in Winterset cemetery.

Page 4Death of MRS. IDA JAMISON
Mrs. Ida Findley Jamison, widow of the late S. R. Jamison, died at the Winterset hospital on Dec. 1st. Her health had not been good for several months, but death came within a few days after she had been in the hospital. Funeral services were held at the Jamison farm south of Winterset Sunday afternoon with Rev. S. J. Malone in charge, followed by burial in Winterset cemetery.
Mrs. Jamison leaves six children, four of whom live here; Mrs. Marie Boyd, Miss Rose, Ross and Paul Jamison, Mrs. Ethel Yoder of Clear Lake and Mrs. Jessie Silverthorne of Woodward, the others are well known here.

Page 6On last Thursday evening occurred the death of Mrs. E. J. Jamison, who lived near Zion church. Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon at 2:30. The community extends sympathy to the bereaved.

Mrs. J. H. Silverthorn, of Woodward, returned home Monday evening. She was called here two weeks ago on account of the illness of her mother, Mrs. Ida Jamison, who died December 1.
