Former County Resident dies

Frank John Nevitt, son of Frank John Nevitt and Catherine Houseworth Nevitt was born on March 31 1892 at Earlham, Iowa, and died at Granby hospital in Granby, Missouri, October 25, 1952, at the age of 60 years and 6 months and 25 days.

He was united in marriage to Leone Brown September 16, 1914, to this union were born seven children, three sons and four daughters.

When Frank was a small boy he moved by covered wagon with his parents to Oklahoma, living there until a grown man. Returning to Iowa he farmed mostly in and around Guthrie County, until he moved to Goodman, Missouri a few years ago.

Surviving are his wife Leona Nevitt, Mr. Frank John Nevitt, Jr, Modesto, California; Mr. Jim Nevitt, also of Modesto; Mr. Jay Nevitt, of Dexter, Iowa; Mrs. Kate Boblett, of Compton, California; Mrs. Iris Rasmussin, of Guthrie Center Iowa; Mrs. Mary Arnold of Goodman, Missouri; Mrs. Betty Carter of Austell, Georgia; also 23 grandchildren. Mr Nevitt was preceded in death by his parents and only sister.
