Graveside services were held at the Winterset Cemetery Thursday, March 6th, for Miss Elizabeth Cole of Des Moines, a former Winterset resident. Miss Cole died at a hospital in Des Moines March 4th and services were held from Dunn’s Funeral Home with Dr. James Lenhart, pastor of the Plymouth Congregational Church officiating. She was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church.
Miss Cole was born in Winterset May 27, 1909, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Cole and attended the Winterset schools. She also taught in Winterset schools for some time. She had lived in Des Moines for several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Dorothy and a brother Donald. She is survived by one nephew.
