Services for Ivan D. Peters, 47, of West Des Moines were held Wednesday, August 16th, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home with burial in Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Peters died of a heart condition Sunday, August 13th at the Mercy Hospital after an illness of seven years.
Born in Earlham, he lived in West Des Moines for 12 years. He had previously lived in Des Moines for 17 years. Mr. Peters was a retired department supervisor at Meredith Corporation and a member of the Vine Bible Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lois; two sons, Dale of Little Rock, Arkansas and Dean of West Des Moines; his mother, Mrs. Pearl Peters of Winterset; a sister, Mrs. Helen Stephenson of Polk City; and two grandchildren.
