Word has been received here of the death of Merl McCauley of Napa, Idaho Saturday, April 8th, following a long illness.
Mr. McCauley was born in Madison County October 4, 1902 the son of Thomas and Bessie Clark McCauley. He owned a bakery in Hawthorne, California until he retired and moved to Napa, Idaho to be near his daughter.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy, a daughter Mrs. Carl Chase of Napa, several grandchildren, a sister Mrs. Lambert Brommel of St. Mary’s and a brother Donald McCauley of near Indianola.
