WILLIAM LOW SERVICES HERE

William J. Low of Des Moines, a native of Madison county, died Saturday, April 8, at his home in Des Moines. He was 72 years of age.

Mr. Low was born in Madison county, April 5, 1899, a son of Ephriam and Eunice Hatch Low. His life was spent in this community, until eight years ago, when he moved to Des Moines.

He was an employee of the Winterset-Des Moines Monument Company.

Mr. Low was married in Winterset Oct. 7, 1935, to Truie Overton, who survives him.

He was a member of the Foursquare church.

In addition to his wife, he leaves a brother, Henry T. Low, and a sister, Mrs. Julia Platt, both of Winterset.

Funeral services were held this Tuesday from the Winterset Foursquare church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Charles Updike, and by the Rev. C. Elvin Swanson of Des Moines. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
