Zona P. Pinckney, 54, of Ackworth died of complications of a head injury Thursday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. The body will be cremated. Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Indianola Church of Christ, of which she was a member. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date.

Mrs. Pinckney was born in Ajo, Ariz., and had lived in Des Moines and Altoona before moving to Ackworth in 1988. She was a clerk at the Indianola Wal-Mart.

Survivors include her husband, Henry; two daughters, Stella Chapman of Eagan, Minn., and Patricia Caldwell of Denison; two stepdaughters, Robin Hoselton of Oskaloosa and Melody Alsager of Williams; her mother and stepfather, Velma and Clifford Willhour of Des Moines; three grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to her church. Arrangements are being handled by Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines.

Note: Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
