Glenn A. Henderson, 60, of 1444 S.E. Bell Ave. died of cancer Thursday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Southtown Funeral Home, and burial will be in Winterset Cemetery.

Mr. Henderson, who retired as a burner for Monarch Cement Co., was born in Truro and had lived in Des Moines since 1966. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.

Surviving are his wife, Jennie; four sons, Alvin of Laughlin, Nev., Jerry of Las Vegas, Nev., Dale of Tampa, Fla., and Gary of Des Moines; two daughters, Connie Harris of Des Moines and Marlene Hathaway of Patterson; two brothers, Orval of Osage and Loran of Nebraska; and nine grandchildren.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
