Paul E. Huston, 74, of Indianola died of a heart ailment Sunday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery.

Mr. Huston was born in Madison County and farmed in New Virginia until 1972. He also worked for Paxton Lumber Co. in Des Moines, was an Army veteran of World War II and had been a member of Teamsters, Warren Masonic Lodge, Des Moines Consistory, Indianola American Legion and the Polled Hereford Association. He was a 32nd degree Mason and past master of New Virginia Lodge.

Surviving are his wife, Darlene; a son, Norville of New Virginia; a sister, Emma Christensen of Winterset, and two grandchildren.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and a Masonic service will begin at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Indianola Fire and Rescue.
