Nona Roderick, 80, of Fountain West Health Care Center, 1501 Office Park Road, West Des Moines, died of a heart ailment there Thursday. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Fisher Funeral Home in Adel. Burial will be at Earlham Cemetery.

Mrs. Roderick, a homemaker was born near Van Meter and had lived in the Adel area most of her life before moving to West Des Moines four years ago. She was a member of Adel United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.

Surviving are two sons, Paul Nichols of DeSoto and Jim Roderick of Adel; a brother, Walter Rinard of Carlisle; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
