Page 4MRS. JESSIE STOUT of St. Charles Dies
Mrs. Jessie M. Stout of St. Charles, a resident of Madison county for half a century, died Sunday, Aug. l6, 1964, at a Winterset nursing home, she was 85 years of age.
Mrs. Stout was the former Jessie Mary Grewell, daughter of Frank and Alma Evans Grewell. She was born at Clemons on Sept. 29, 1878. She was married Jan. 1, 1899, at St. Charles, to Elvis R. Stout. His death occurred in 1942.
She was a member of the Christian church at Winterset.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Homer Frey of St. Charles; three nephews and four nieces.
Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, in charge of the Rev. William E. Bowles. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery
