Rochester, ILL.---Shirley Shutt Lindsay of Rochester died of cancer Tuesday at home. She was 55. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at McLaren’s Funeral Chapel in West Des Moines, with burial in the St. Charles, Ia. Cemetery.

Mrs. Lindsay was a lifelong West Des Moines resident until moving to Illinois 16 years ago. She was a psychologist and member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are a son, James II of Decatur; two daughters, Jennifer Lindsay of Rochester and Lisa Foster of Omaha; her mother, Ada Shutt of Lewis, Ia.; a brother, Russell Shutt of Leon, Ia.; a sister, Loretta Lamb of Des Moines; and a grandchild.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.
