Gale Vincent Klug, 45, of Woodward died of a respiratory ailment Sunday at Woodward State Hospital, where he was a resident. The body was donated to the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Winterset. Burial will be at a later date.

Mr. Klug was born in Hartington, Neb., and lived in Woodward most of his life.

He is survived by his mother, Veronica Klug of Winterset; five brothers, Terry and Sid, both of Winterset, Keith and Lyle, both of Des Moines, and Leon of Creston; and two sisters, Shirley Bush and Vicki Cameron, both of Winterset.

Collins Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Note: Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
