Madalyn L. Wright, 69, of 411 33rd St., West Des Moines, died of a liver ailment Saturday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Westover Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery in St. Charles.

Mrs. Wright was born in Madison County and lived in Des Moines most of her life. She retired in 1986 from the Federal Bankruptcy Court, where she was a clerk. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star Ancanthus Lodge No. 530.

Survivors include a son, Col. David K. Wright of Salt Lake City, Utah; two daughters, Pam Wagner of Clive and Nancy Sandstoe of Johnston; two sisters, Charlotte Bolyard of Folsom, Calif., and Geraldine Lathrum of Carpinteria, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m.
