FANNIE CAUDILL Dies at 86 Years

Mrs. Fannie Caudill of Winterset, a resident of Madison county since 1930, died Friday, August 29, 1969, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 86 years of age.

Mrs. Caudill was a native of Kentucky, where she was born in Letcher county on Jan. 11, 1883, a daughter of Henry and Nancy Eldridge.

She was a member of the First Baptist church.

She was married in Moorehead, Ky., on Aug. 1, 1906, to Frank Caudill, who survives her. She also leaves six children, Mrs. Gertrude Soriein of Joseph, Ore., Mrs. Jewell Utterson of Council Bluffs, Walter F. Caudill of St. Charles, Mrs. Dessie Dennington of Houston, Tex., J. D. Caudill of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Esther Smith of Peru. She also leaves 21 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held this Tuesday from the First Baptist church in Winterset, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. H. E. Borum. Burial was made in Ebenezer cemetery.
