Winterset, IA.—Judy Ramey, 74, of Winterset died of heart and lung ailments Sunday at Winterset Care Center South. The body has been donated to the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, and no services are planned.

She was born in Union County and lived in Winterset most of her life. She had been a cook and nursing assistant.

Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Hoeness of Winterset, Dixie Mayfield of League City, Texas, and Darlene Foland of Tujunga, Calif.; two sisters, Jo Hicks of Bloomington, Minn., and Marty Glazebrook of Murray; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Collins Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Judy Ramey, 74, a resident of Care Center South in Winterset, died Nov. 27 at the care center. There will be no services and her body was donated to the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Science in Des Moines.

Born Jan. 24, 1914 in Union County, she was the daughter of Albert and Grace Waltz Hermon. She was a cook and nursing assistant at the Care Center North and Summerset Haven.

Survivors include daughters, Dorothy Hoeness of Winterset, Dixie Mayfield of League City, Texas, and Darlene Foland of Tujunga, Calif.; sisters, Jo Hicks of Bloomington, Minn., and Marty Glazebrook of Murray; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a daughter, a brother and a sister.

Note: Burial was made in the Earlham cemetery.
