Robert C. Hadsall, 87, of St. Marys went to be with the Lord on December 4, 2007, just one month short of his 65th wedding anniversary to his surviving wife, Jean Alberta Peak Hadsall.

He was a lifelong farmer and the father of Sandra Shaw and sons Robert (Mary), John, and Bruce, as well as eight grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

He is survived by brothers, Vern (Agnes), Richard (LaVerne), Joe (Donna) and sister, June. He was a WWII veteran, member of St. Marys American Legion, a 50-year member of the Warren County Farm Bureau, and a good neighbor, loyal friend and loving patriarch.

A remembrance service will be held Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 2 p.m. at St. Marys Hall in St. Marys, Iowa.

Note: Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
