Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sirdoreus, Steve and Beth of Kansas City, Missouri spent the week of July 4th in Ann Arbor, Michigan in the home of Dr. and Mrs. Charles Gre--- and sons and Grand Rapids, Michigan at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Gunter, Mike Lori and Susie, coming to Winterset July 11th to the parental Tom Gunter home. Mr. and Mrs. Sirdoreus returned to Kansas City, Missouri July 18th, but were summoned back to Winterset July 19th by the death of Mrs. Nora Sirdoreus.

Mrs. Nora M. Sirdoreus of Winterset died Monday, July 19, at the Madison Manor Nursing Home in Winterset. She was 80 years of age.
Mrs. Sirdoreus was born August 4, 1890 at Sargent, Missouri, the daughter of Jim and Laura Elliott Westerman. She was married to Fred Sirdoreus at Eunice, Missouri on September 22, 1909. Mrs. Sirdoreus came to Winterset in 1921, and had made her home here for the past 50 years.
She was affiliated with the Foursquare Church in Winterset.
Mrs. Sirdoreus is survived by six children: Mrs. Jack (Edna) Garrison of Macksburg, Homer Sirdoreus of Winterset, Mrs. Gene (Hazel) Alcorn of Winterset, Roscoe Sirdoreus of Norwalk, Fred Sirdoreus, Jr. of Winterset, and Harold Sirdoreus of Kansas City, Missouri; 25 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a brother, Henry Westerman of Cody, Wyoming, also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother and one sister, also four sons and two daughters.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 22 at Collins Funeral home in Winterset with the Rev. Charles Updike presiding. Burial was in Penn Center cemetery.
