Services for Olive M. Couch, 83, of 526 Forty-eighth St., who died Tuesday of a heart ailment at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, will be at 1:30 p.m. today at McLaren’s Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at the Penn Center Cemetery in Madison County.

Born in Kansas, Miss Couch lived in Des Moines and West Des Moines for 67 years. She was a member of the West Des Moines United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a brother, Carl C. York of Winterset.

Transcriber’s note: Typed as published. Olive was the daughter of George and Elva A. (Hennen) Couch. Carl York, listed as her brother was raised by his uncle and aunt George and Elva when his mother, Cora (Hennen) York died in 1892 when Carl was one year old.
