Abram Leander Reager, son of Isaac and Mary Reager, was born in Madison county, Iowa, July 26, 1865, died at his home in Norton county, near Norcatur, Kansas, February 22nd 1910, aged 44 yrs. 6 mos and 26 days.

In the winter of 1883 he embraced religion and joined the Methodist Episcopal church.

On January 27, 1892, he was united in marriage to Miss Emma Jane Cox. To this union two children were born, John Carl and Gladys Esther.

He leaves besides his wife and two children, he leaves a father, one brother and three sisters, besides a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his departure.

While living, he and his family were inseparatable. A more devoted husband and father could not be found in all the land and his entire family were dearly devoted to each other. His friends were numbered by his scores of acquaintances who knew him, and in all the world was not an enemy was he known to have had.

He was a member of the Modern Woodsman, Camp --- and carried a $2,000.00 beneficiary

His sudden taken away was a great shock to the community and his untimely death is to be mourned most deeply.
