Bonnie Lou Sharon, Guthrie Center

Bonnie Lou Sharon, 66, was born July 11, 1944 in Madison County, Iowa to Dean and Ethel Mae (Howell) Strable. She passed away Friday June 3, 2011 at the Guthrie County Hospital in Guthrie Center, Iowa.

Visitation is Tuesday, June 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. Family to be present from 5 to 7 p.m. at Twigg Funeral Home in Guthrie Center. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday June 8 at the funeral home.

Bonnie was raised and attended school in St. Charles, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Bernard Sharon at the family's home in Redfield, Iowa on August 5, 1986. She has two sons; Galen and Brion Fast.

Bonnie enjoyed dancing, embroidering, playing card games such as Skip Bo and solitaire. But most of all she loved her entire family especially her grandchildren and great-grandbabies.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Bernard Sharon; mother, Ethel Mae Lamb; children, Galen (Christine) Fast of Winterset, Brion (Cindy) Fast of Des Moines; sister, Nadine (Ronnie) Sparks of Des Moines; brothers, Dave (Oma) Strable of Quinton, Oklahoma, Dennis (Melinda) Strable of Ankeny; four grandchildren and two great-grandbabies. She was preceded in death by her father.
