PAUL WAYNE BINNS, Winterset

Paul Wayne Binns, 71, of Winterset died Friday, May 20, 2011, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Paul was born March 1, 1940, at Winterset, Iowa, to Margaret Cena Mitchell and Fred Binns. After growing up in Madison County and graduating from Winterset High School in 1958, he married Joyce Elaine Jensen of Adair County on June 30, 1961. To this union were born two children, Jeff Binns of Winterset and Michelle Binns (Dusty) of Winterset. While being a lifetime resident of Winterset, Paul worked for the Madison County Engineers Office, served as Madison County Supervisor for eight years, and then before retiring he worked for Winterset Community Transportation of the Winterset School District.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Margaret Binns, and his brother Carl Binns.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.

Funeral arrangements were handled by
McCalley-Collins Funeral Home in Winterset.

Paul Wayne Binns, 71, Winterset: Died May 20, 2011. Memorial Graveside services: 7 p.m. Thursday, June 30, at Fairview Church Cemetery located seven miles south of Stuart or seven miles north of Highway 92 on the Stuart Road.
