CAL E. SMITH

The Madisonian has just recently received the announcement of the death of Cal E. Smith, who for many years lived on the ridge road north of Patterson and which farm still bears his name. He moved with his family to Cass county, Missouri, about twenty years ago, and a few years ago moved to Corpus Christi, Texas, where he died on Nov. 18th.

He is survived by a daughter, Audrey Smith, who was ill in a Corpus Christi hospital at the time of her father's death. The burial was made at Archie, Missouri, where a daughter, Hazel, died in 1912 and the mother a year later.
