Funeral for Wilbur E. Miller, a retired postal worker, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Pearson - Allen Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Gresham.
Mr. Miller died Monday in a hospital. He was 84.
He was born in Winterset, Iowa and moved to Corbett at an early age. He lived in southeast Portland most of his life and worked for the US Postal Service from 1939 until his retirement in 1962. He was a member of the East Multnomah Pioneer Association.
Survivors include his wife, Jennie; a son, Dick of Gresham; and two grandchildren.
Transcriber's note: Wilbur was born October 28, 1898, the son of Orrin Russell and Maud Amanda (Shearer) Miller.
