Webster - Funeral services for Nellie Ruth Schulz, 85, and formerly of Lily, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Lily Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Charles Mountain officiating. Burial will be in the Lily Hillside Cemetery.

Mr. Schulz died Wednesday at the Day County Hospital in Webster.

Visitation will be at Fiksdal's Funeral Home in Webster, Sunday from 2 p.m to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m to 9 p.m and Monday 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and at the church in Lily before the service.

Nellie Ruth Schulz was born March 7, 1895, at Winterset, Iowa. She married William Schulz September 8, 1949 at Lily. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, George Bock, Sr. of Lily and Francis W. Bock of Redwood City, California; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Jane Lemon of Washington; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, one son, two husbands, and ten brothers.

Transcriber's note: Nellie was the daughter of Oliver Perry and Sarah Jane (Bell) Haxton.
