A. Rosander Dies At 87

Funeral services for Albert Rosander of Winterset were held this Wednesday afternoon from the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset

Mr. Rosander died Monday afternoon, January 2 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. He was 87 years of age.

Mr. Rosander farmed for a number of years in Scott township and had retired to Winterset about two years ago.

Burial was in the Norwalk cemetery.

Albert Rosander Services Held

Albert Rosander, a retired farmer who lived in Winterset, died at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines last Monday, January 7. He was 87 years of age.

Mr. Rosander was born in Des Moines, on July 23, 1885, the son of John and Sophia Johnson Rosander. He married Cozie Quick in 1906.

Mr. Rosander had lived in Madison County since 1918.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carrie Michael of Martensdale and by five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his wife and two sons, Everett in 1938 and Melford in 1971. He was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 9 at the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with the Rev. Joel Andrus officiating.

Burial was in the Norwalk Cemetery
