Funeral services were held Monday evening, August 9th at 3 p.m. at the Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home in Schaumburg, Illinois with private burial services for Robert S. Impey.
Mr. Impey was the son of Paul F. and Hazel (Street) Impey and was born June 23, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois. He died at this home August 2nd after a lenghly illness.
His entire life was spent in the Chicago vicinity. He graduated from Lane Tech School and attended the University of Illinois in Champaign. He served in the United States Navy during WW II serving aboard the aircraft carrier, John Hancock.
He is survived by his wife, Iva Headley Impey, by a daughter, Susan of Lockport, Illinois, his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. John Street of Washington, D.C., his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Paul F. Impey of Dayton, Ohio and one sister.
Mr. and Mrs. Impey had visited here a number of times with the latter's sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Allen.
