Curt Hines

Services for Curt Hines, 17, of 3323 Cottage Grove Ave. will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery in St. Charles.

Mr. Hines was dead on arrival Sunday at Northwest Community Hospital. Authorities said he was accidently shot while target practicing southwest of Des Moines.

Mr. Hines was born in Des Moines and also lived in Michigan. A student at Des Moines Technical High School, he was a member of the West Madison Church of Christ.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hines; two brothers, Clay and Carl, both at home; two sisters, Candice and Cynthia, both at home, and his grandparents, Essie Hines of St. Charles and Mr. and Mrs. Darald Morgan of Lohrville.
