Edwin P. Simpson of Littleton, a retired owner and founder of Restaurant Equipment and Design Corp., died Sunday. He was 76.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Crown Hill Mortuary Chapel, West 29th Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard. Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Simpson was born May 12, 1918, in Winterset, Iowa. He was a lifetime member and former secretary for Ports of Call Travel Club and a member of Masonic Lodge No. 161.

He is survived by three sons, Edwin III, San Diego, Dennis, Conifer, and Earl, Lakewood; a daughter, Rexene Simpson-Worrell, Chicago; a brother, William, California; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services were Oct. 20 at Crown Hill Mortuary Chapel, with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery.
