Page 2Robert Husted Dies In Florida
Robert Virgil Husted, 63, former Madison county resident, died June 19 at a St. Petersburg hospital. A native of Peru, Mr. Husted had lived in Palm Harbor, Florida the past year.
He left Winterset about 25 years ago, moving to Knoxville, Iowa where he operated strip mines. He later continued the same business at Kirksville, Missouri.
He was a member of the Methodist church and Masonic Lodge at Palm Harbor.
Surviving are his wife, Maxine, two daughters, Mrs. Angelica Udell of Houston, Texas and Mrs. Carrie Burroughs of Terre Haute, Indiana; four grandchildren and two brothers, Eugene and Frank Husted of Springfield, Missouri.
Funeral services were held June 22 from the First Methodist church at Tarpon Springs, Florida.
Burial was in Sylvan Abby Memorial Park.
