Lynda L. Morris, 61, of Minburn died Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
Funeral services were held today (Wednesday, March 30) at McCalley-Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with the Rev. Bob Epperson officiating. Burial will be in the Winterset Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to her family.
Lynda was born on Feb. 24, 1950, in Des Moines to Leonard and Thelma (Hummel) Prine. A homemaker, she lived in Minburn the last three years, having moved there from Winterset. Lynda previously lived in Adel for nearly 25 years. Lynda was married on Oct. 21, 1995, in Adel to Robert Vern Morris.
Lynda is survived by her parents, Leonard & Thelma (Hummel) Prine of Adel; children, Tammy Combs of Des Moines and Roxane Kirk of Stuart; brother, Michael Prine of Adel; sister, Dorothy Day of Clarion; grandchildren, Nic, Joshua, Jacob, Kash, Ashleigh, Echo, Christina and Alison; and great grandchild, Gracelyn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Morris; and sister, Jean Ralph.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by McCalley-Collins Funeral Home in Winterset.
