Page 1Death Of Mrs. Myrtle Sanderson
Mrs. Myrtle Sanderson died at the Winterset hospital on November 30 after years of failing health and a long, fatal illness.
Mrs. Sanderson who had lived in or near Winterset for the past 10 years, was 44 years of age.
Mrs. Sanderson was born as Myrtle L. Shumate, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Shumate, at Polo, Missouri on February 23, 1890. In that community she spent her early life and there in 1908 she was married to Charles Sanderson. About 10 years ago they came to this county. Last March Charles Sanderson died.
The deceased is survived by her two children, Mrs. Lucille Hall of Grand River and Maxine of Winterset, and three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services were held last Saturday from the Ramsey - Richards Funeral home in charge of the Rev. A. R. Weed of the West Star church.
Burial was made at the Winterset cemetery.
