Funeral Rites Held At Truro -

John Jackson Isenberger, a former resident of the Truro area, died December 4, at the Veteran's Hospital in Des Moines. He was 67 years of age.

A son of Mark M. and Ivey May Bonney Isenberger, he was born March 4, 1907 in Clarke County, Iowa. He was educated in Clarke County schools, and in 1945 was married to Nettie Dillinger.

He was a farmer, moving to Des Moines several years ago.

Surviving are four sisters, Mabel Cross of Des Moines, Alice Morris of Canada, Pearl Shoemaker and Kathryn Stoneking and one brother, Harley Isenberger of Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a brother, Harold, and a sister, Queenie Gracey.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, December 7, from the Kale Funeral Home at Truro, with Pastor Lloyd Miller of St. Charles officiating.

Burial was in the Young Cemetery in Truro.

Truro News -

Funeral services were held here at the Kale Funeral Home Saturday at 1:30 for John Isenberger, age 67, from Des Moines. Rev. Lloyd Miller was in charge of the service.

Burial was in the Young Cemetery.

He was a former resident of this community.
