Services for Ruth Cummings, 86, Winterset, who died Tuesday morning at the Madison County Hospital, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Redfield.

A native of Redfield, she had been a resident of the Care Center North in Winterset. Handling the services is the Chamberlain-Fisher Funeral Home of Redfield. The site of the services is still pending, the funeral home said.

Transcriber’s note: Nothing else was found on Ruth Cummings in following issues of the Madisonian. She was buried in the Penn Center cemetery.

Redfield, IA.---Services for Ruth Cummings, 86, of Redfield, who died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Madison County Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Redfield Christian Church. Burial will be in Penn Center Cemetery at Earlham.

Mrs. Cummings was born near Dexter and lived in Dallas County all of her life. A homemaker, she was a member of Redfield Christian Church, where she served as an elder, and of Christian Women’s Fellowship. She was a 50-year member of chapter 141, of Redfield Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include a brother, Hazen A. Morford of Winterset.
