Death of Mrs. Ida Breeding

Mrs. Ida Breeding died about three thirty o'clock Monday afternoon at her home on North First avenue at the age of 62 years. Mrs. Breeding had a stroke of paralysis last Wednesday afternoon and she was only conscious for a short time after that. Friday night she became critically ill and never regained consciousness.

Ida Campbell came here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Silas Campbell, from Virginia where she was a girl thirteen years of age and they settled in Union township. Later they moved to Scott township. Forty-two years ago, she married J.P. Breeding, and with the exception of six years that he was county sheriff, they resided in Scott township. Mr. Breeding died in 1917 and at that time his wife moved to town. She has kept little Maurice Hassel since the sickness and death of his mother.

Mrs. Breeding is survived by her son, Walter of Midland, South Dakota, and six brothers: D.L. Campbell of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, C.H Campbell of Wallace, Idaho, and Jim, Jack, Charles and Bob Campbell of this place.

Mrs. Breeding was well known and highly respected throughout town and county and her many friends regretted hearing of her illness and death. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. D.J. Shenton at the Methodist Church, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
