Death of Michael Quinn

Bevington, January 17, Special---
Michael Quinn, aged 66 years, died at his home one mile north of here last Thursday, after a week’s illness from pneumonia.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. P. J. Casey, at the church of the Assumption at Churchville on Saturday morning, and interment made in St. Patrick’s cemetery. Just some weeks ago Mr. Quinn’s father, Peter Quinn, died at Mercy hospital in Des Moines.

Michael Quinn was born in Pennsylvania and at the age of seven years came with his parents to Iowa and settled on a farm in the western part of Madison county. After his marriage he became a resident of Crawford township, occupying the same homestead until his death. His survivors are his widow, who was Miss Mary Horan, and two daughters, Mrs. F. J. King and Mrs. J. W. Cassiday, both living on adjoining farms.
